Sol Stern on New York City's Reading Woe's
The New York City pilot of the Core Knowledge Language Arts Program “is a ray of reading hope,” writes Sol Stern of the Manhattan Institute in the latest issue of City Journal. The article calls for continued funding of the 10-school pilot, “showing education authorities that the solution to the city’s reading problem is in plain sight.”
